The imagery of the text is mirrored by a rich and warm harmonic language that is gently fluid and contemplative in character.
The number five has been used as a recurring symbolic musical feature with its theological association with God’s grace and favour towards humankind.
This is reflected through the use of pentatonic-based tone sets and pentuplet rhythms lending a subtle sense of comfort and consolation.
